| 内容記述 | 児童の作文過程を認知科学的に解明し併せて作文過程の改善を目指すために理論的な吟味とそれに基づく調査および実践を行った。1）作文過程を特定の相手に向けた発話過程として見直し，教室における作文過程をより有意味にするための方法として，子供たちに仮想的な他者視点を取らせる「誰かになって書く方法」を提案した。2）この方法に基づいて小学校5年生を対象にした「映画監督になって書く」実践場面をもうけて作文資料を収集し，これを種々の観点から談話分析によって特徴づけして，対照資料と比較しながら「誰かになってみる方法」の有効性を確認した。3）仮想視点を取る方法の有効性をより客観的に明らかにするために作文能力を測るテストを開発し，これを利用しながら，子供たちに読み手を意識化させることがどのような効果をもつのか検討し，「文化人類学者になって調べて書く」実践授業を組んで再度仮想視点を取る方法の有効性を確認した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | With the goal of explicating the cognitive process of writing and the improvement of it in the classroom, we proposed a learning-instruction approach for writing activities, named the Virtual Viewpoint Approach. ln the Virtual Viewpoint Approach, children are instructed to assume the identity of some person who is working in a real everyday setting. While in the typical writing class children are immediately instructed to follow procedures and directions, in the Virtual Viewpoint Approach children engage in a kind of role playing game and then write narrative stories and expository texts mediated by the game. Children are able to utilize the cultural tools and speech genre of the person whose role they assume as resources for writing activities. We arranged two classes of the Virtual Viewpoint Approach ： writing from a film director's viewpoint and writing from an anthropologist's viewpoint. | |||||
