| 内容記述 | 「共同発話」とは,2人以上の参加者によって作り上げられる名詞句や節,単文,複文である。実際の日本語の談話から収集した共同発話50例を分析し,共同発話は,1)どの参加者の立場から作り上げるのか,2)どの参加者に,どのような行動によって共同発話として認められるのか,3)どのような非言語行動によって作り上げられるのか,について考察した。共同発話に伴う非言語行動の特徴として,後の発話者は先の発話者の「図像的な動作」からその表現意図を予測し,共同発話を成立させること,先の発話者は共同発話の成立を認めるのに,後の発話の繰り返し,同意,うなずき等を用いていること等が観察された。従来の話し手・聞き手という二分法にかわり,新しく談話の参加者を発話機能の使い分けと視線により「マトモの情報提供者・協力者」と「ワキの情報提供者・協力者」と分類し直すことで談話における参加者の相互作用の複雑な面が浮かび上がった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Co-construction refers to the creation of a relative clause, clause, sentence or complex sentence by 2 or more participants. Based on an analysis of 50 examples of co-construction used in actual Japanese conversations, I address the following questions: 1) on whose footing are co-constructions created, 2) how and by whom are co-constructions ratified, 3) how is nonverbal behavior used to create co-constructions. I demonstrate that nonverbal behavior influences co-construction because participants can project the end of an utterance from the speaker's iconic movements, and co-constructions are ratified by repetition of the end of the co-construction, agreements and head nods. By replacing the traditional speaker/hearer dichotomy with a new classification based on ratified vs. waki 'assistant' information presenting participants and supporting participants, which I identified based on the utterance functions and gaze, I was able to elucidate new complexities in the interaction among conversational participants. | |||||
