| 内容記述 | 南琉球諸方言のアクセント体系を正しく記述するためには，本土諸方言や北琉球諸方言とは異なる理論的枠組みとそれに基づいた調査法が必要であることが判明しつつある（松森2015，2016a，五十嵐2016など）。しかし，八重山地域ではこの新しい理論的枠組みと調査法を用いた研究がなされていない方言が残っており，それらの方言のアクセント体系は正しく記述されていない可能性が残る。本稿では以上の点を踏まえ，二型アクセント体系を持つとされてきた八重山語の4つの方言（大浜，宮良，石垣四箇，西表古見）を取り上げ，これらの方言では，①3つのアクセント型が区別されており，②「韻律語」という韻律単位（五十嵐2015，2016）が機能しているという2点を明らかにする。その過程で対象方言のアクセント体系について新しい音韻的解釈を提示した上で，琉球祖語に再建されるアクセント類との通時的関係について簡単に指摘する。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | In the light of recent research, it has become increasingly clear that, in order to achieve an adequate description of the prosodic system of the Southern Ryukyuan dialects, a theoretical framework different from the one used for mainland and Northern Ryukyu dialects and corresponding research methods are necessary (Matsumori 2015, 2016a; Igarashi 2016, etc.). However, there are still dialects for which this new theoretical framework and research methods have not yet been applied, leaving the possibility that the prosodic system of these dialects are not accurately described. Taking these points into consideration, this paper investigates the prosodic system of four dialects of the Yaeyama language (Ohama, Miyara, Ishigaki Shika, and Iriomote-Komi) which have been described in the previous literature as possessing a binary prosodic system, and shows that: first, three different accent types are distinguished, and second, we need to postulate the prosodic unit called 'prosodic word' (Igarashi 2015, 2016). As a result of these findings, we propose a new phonological interpretation regarding the prosodic system of the dialects under investigation and we add some preliminary remarks concerning the prosodic correspondences of the synchronic accent types and the prosodic categories reconstructed for proto-Ryukyuan. | |||||||||||||
