| 内容記述 | （サ）セル表現に「強制」や「許容」といった用法があることはよく知られている。一方，「強制」や「許容」の用法が現実の言語使用においてどのような原理に基づいて用いられており，どのような機能を持つのかといった語用論的特徴はまだ明らかにされていない。 そこで本研究では，話し言葉における（サ）セル表現に焦点をあて，サセ手・シ手の立場と意志の2つの観点から整理を行ったうえで，（サ）セル表現の語用論的特徴を捉える試みを行った。立場の観点では，サセ手・シ手のそれぞれが話し手・聞き手・第三者のいずれなのかで整理し，意志の観点では，シ手の意志がサセ手の意志に一致するか対立するか問題にされないかで，〈意志相反〉〈意志尊重〉〈意志不問〉という3つのタイプに整理した。 テレビドラマのシナリオの用例を用いて分析した結果，次のことがわかった。〈意志相反〉は主にサセ手の非を指摘するために，〈意志尊重〉は主にサセ手への称賛を示すためにそれぞれ用いられており，非の指摘や称賛は，謝罪や非難，許可求めなどの機能で使われている。一方，〈意志不問〉は，サセ手の非の指摘や，サセ手の正当性の主張として使われることも多いが，単なる事実の叙述として使われることもある。 |

| 内容記述 | This study analyzed the pragmatic characteristics of causative constructions in spoken Japanese from the following two perspectives. (1) Are the causer and the causee speakers, listeners, or third parties? (2) Is the causer violating, respecting, or ignoring the causee's intention? Examples collected from TV drama scripts were correlated following these two perspectives, and the results of the analysis revealed the following. (1) In most cases, the causative construction is used to point out a causer's mistake in which the causer violates the causee's intention. (2) Contrariwise, where the causer respects the causee's intention, the causative construction is mostly used to express a commendation or an appreciation of the causer's permission or assistance. (3) When the causer ignores the causee's intention, the causative construction may be used to describe the causative situation without connotations of emotion. (4) Apologies, criticism, and asking for permission can be cited as examples of the functions of causative constructions. | |||||
