| 内容記述 | 中国語漢字による日本語音声表記というのは，中国語の表記方法における文字と音声の関係に従って日本語の音声を中国語漢字の簡体字または繁体字で表記するものである。たとえば［コーカ］（効果）は「扣喔咖」と表記する。日本語の音声を中国語漢字で表記することは一部の旅行者向け日本語会話集に見られるが，長音や促音が表記されないなど，問題が多い。そこで，中国語漢字の表記に従った日本語音声表記を提案することにした。中国語漢字による日本語音声表記を提案するために，2つの調査を行った。1つは書き取り調査である。日本語を知らない中国語母語話者に日本語の音声を聞いてもらい，それを簡体字または繁体字で書き取ってもらう調査である。もう1つは読み上げ調査である。書き取り調査によって絞られたそれぞれの音声表記の候補を読み上げてもらい，日本語らしく発音される可能性の高い表記を確認する調査である。この音声表記の主な特徴は，（a）から（e）のようなものである。（a）1モーラを中国語漢字1文字で表記する。ただし，日本語のモーラの音声に近い中国語漢字がない場合は，子音を表す漢字と母音を表す漢字を組み合わせて表す。（b）長音［ー］は，前のモーラと同じ母音の中国語漢字を使って表す。（c）促音［ッ］は，[ ] を使って「骂[ ] 透」（マット）のように表す。（d）撥音［ン］は，前のモーラと撥音を合わせた音声を中国語漢字1文字で表す。（e）日本語のアクセントを中国語漢字が持つ声調を使って表す。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Japanese phonetic notation using Chinese characters, which helps Chinese speakers learn oral Japanese without the knowledge of written Japanese, requires notating Japanese phonetics with letters by following the relationship between letters and sounds used in Chinese notation methods. Previous attempts to notate some important Japanese phonetic features (e.g. long vowels and moraic obstruents) have failed. Therefore, we propose a new Japanese phonetic notation system using Chinese characters for Chinese speakers.For this purpose, the following two studies were conducted: 1) a dictation study in which native Chinese speakers unfamiliar with written Japanese listened to spoken Japanese and noted the words using Chinese characters; and 2) an oral reading study in which participants read out each candidate for the phonetic notation method derived from the dictation study, identifying the notation that was most likely to be read in the manner it sounds in Japanese.The main characteristics of this phonetic notation are detailed below. (a) Each mora is notated by single Chinese characters. When no Chinese character exists to approximate the Japanese mora in question, two Chinese characters fill the gap, representing the consonant and the vowel, respectively. (b) Long vowels are notated with the Chinese characters for the preceding mora vowels. (c) With moraic obstruent, a "[ ]" is inserted between the preceding and subsequent moras. (d) With moraic nasals, the preceding mora and the nasal are represented together by single Chinese characters. (e) High and low pitch patterns of Japanese words are approximated by the tones of the Chinese characters. | |||||
