| 内容記述 | 命令形などの直接形式は相手を侵害する形式として社会的に使用が難しく,目上から目下に限り使用できるとされる。しかし,現代社会には基本的に対等な,対称的な関係の集団も数多く存在する。そこでは,行為指示はどのようにおこなわれるのだろうか。本稿では,大阪の自治会活動での行為指示談話において直接形式が使用されている実態を確認するとともに,そこで使用されていた大阪方言の命令形である連用形命令「シ」とテ形「シテ」がどのような発話機能で使用され,また,談話の流れの中でどのように使用されているかという2点から分析をした。その結果,(1)シは主に「聞き手利益命令」機能で社会的距離を縮めるものとして使用され,シテが主に「命令指示」機能で使用される,(2)シやシテが「命令指示」機能で使用される場合,いわば「命令指示」マーカーとして一つの指示談話中1～2回しか使用されず,具体的な指示内容は間接形式がカバーする一方,周辺発話で仲間意識の構築が志向される,ということが明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Direct forms of directives, such as bald imperatives, are very difficult to use in social settings because they seem aggressive, and so their use is restricted to that from superiors to inferiors. In this paper, I examine natural discourse between members of a residents' association in Osaka, and demonstrate that direct forms of directives are in fact also used between status equals. I focus on two direct forms of directives. One is si, which is a non-infinitive form of a verb and is used as an imperative in the Osaka dialect, and the other is site, which is the te-form of a verb. I analyze the data from two points of view: the function of these forms in the discourse, and their use within sequences of utterances that carry out directives. As a result I point out the following. (1) Si is mainly used as a positive politeness strategy in directives which carry some benefit to the hearer; on the other hand, site functions to give an order. (2) Si and site can be said to function as "directive markers" and are used only once or twice within a given discourse; the content of the directive is communicated using other indirect forms and supportive moves. | |||||
