| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は,日本語と韓国語の断り談話において理由表現マーカーがどのように現れるかを明らかにすることにある。ロールプレイ調査から得られた資料を基にして,理由表現マーカーを分析した結果,次の3点が検証された。(1)両言語の理由表現マーカーの使用頻度には,後続節の省略ができるかどうかということが関係している。(2)日本語ではウチ・ソト・ヨソ意識が理由表現マーカーの使用に明確に反映されるのに対して,韓国語ではそのような意識の反映が日本語ほど顕著ではない。(3)韓国語では,後続節が省略された「理由表現マーカー中止文」を用いるだけで聞き手に対する丁寧さや配慮を示すことができるが,日本語では必ずしもそうではなく,どのような理由表現マーカーを用いるか,どのような内容で断り談話が構成されるかが問題になる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, I shall compare the reason expressions appearing at the end of phrases in Japanese and Korean refusal discourse. At the end of Japanese expressions of reasons, the following styles are common: node-type, kara-type, shi-type, te-type, kedo-type and the proposition-type. In Korean, reason expressions often end in tt'aemune-type, nikka-type, seo-type, go-type, neunde-type, and the proposition type. In this study I separate the expressions in the above way and call the various expressions, 'reason-expression markers.' This study differs from other research in that I have brought in the aspect of uchi, soto, yoso. Separating the problem into of uchi (I, II), soto, yoso I have reconsidered the kinds of reason expressions, and found that in both languages the frequency of choice of the reason marker increases according on the uchi (I,II) soto, yoso relationship. As for Japanese, the uchi (I, II) case the kara-type, shi-type, and the proposition type are most frequent, whereas in the node-type is used most on soto, yoso situation. On the other hand, in Korean the expression to distinguish uchi (I, II) soto, yoso is the seo-type, proposition-type. Other than that, the neunde-type, is the most widely used and its usage does not change frequency based on the uchi (I, II) soto, yoso. Although there is some difference in frequency among tt'aemune-type, nikka-type, go-types it is not great enough to warrant categorization. Moreover, in discontinuance-sentence of Japanese, there is some difference in the frequency according to uchi (I, II) soto, yoso, but it appears without awareness. In terms of the awareness of uchi (I, II) soto, yoso it is not a question whether to use a marker but rather which marker to use to end the sentence is dependent on the content structure of the refusal discourse. In the case of Korean, discontinuance- sentences, reason expression markers tend to appear most in uchi II soto and yoso situations, and the level of frequency is much higher than in Japanese. The reason for this can be understood because the discontinuance-sentence which includes "neunde" conveys a more than sufficient degree of politeness in itself. | |||||
