| 内容記述 | 国立国語研究所報告89『雑誌用語の変遷』のあとをうけて，雑誌『中央公論』の1986年一年の用語について，調査をおこなったので，結果の数量的な概要を報告する。和語は従来とくらべて出現がもっともすくなく，外来語の増加傾向はつづいている。そのように変化しながらも，戦後の用語は，戦前の用語にくらべて，共通度がたかく，安定している。今回の調査では原文をコンピュータファイルとして作成したので，それを利用して，出現したかたちでの語の長さをはかってみた。平均して，一語は，0.87個の付属部分をともない，3.67字で表記され，4.78拍からなる。なお，単位にかかわることのあった問題を，二三かきとめた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Basing ourselves on the investigation reported by “ NLRI Report 89:Changes in the Language of a Magazine”, we examined the words used by the magazine “Chūo-Kōron” in 1986 and here present the outlines of the results. The pure Japanese words are fewer in number than in the past 80 years,while the use of the loan-words from European languages continue to grow in number. Notwithstanding these changes, the whole word in post-war period remains more stable than in pre-war period. We tried to measure the length of the words used, by means of a computer data file. On the average, each word presented 0.87 morphological element; the written forms used 3.67 characters per word and had a lenghth of 4.78 mora. A few problems concerning the word units were taken up. | |||||
