For analysis, we used the taxonomy of Rhetorical Unit Analysis, a discourse analysis method within the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics. Rhetorical Unit Analysis provides information on the rhetorical function and decontextualization index of each unit of analysis, the \"message\" (a clause). We analyzed three sessions of the Coimagination Method discourse on two different themes. The results showed that the rhetorical functions used for each theme were different. Furthermore, the rhetorical functions used for each theme were commonly observed in multiple sessions across multiple individuals in both the \"topic presentation\" and \"question-and-answer\" parts of the sessions.
