Among these imports, the potato is thought to have spread in Japan late, since a word for ‘potato’ was not included in a dialectal dictionary published in the late eighteenth century and it shows a greater variety of dialectal names than other imported food plants. Many of the dialectal names of imported food plants contain foreign place-names. On the other hand, dialectal words for 'potato' frequently contain domestic place-names and persons’ names, which are seldom or never seen in the names of other imported food plants. The names of the potato played an important role in language change. The place-name Kooshuu and personal name Seidayuu arose with the spread of the potato as a hardy crop; however, neither of them is well known in other places. The unfamiliarity, in other words weakness of these names caused them to undergo adaptation when borrowed into the dialect of the accepting region with language change, since the acceptors of these words changed them to make them easier to understand in each place. Geographical characteristics are found in the dialectal distributions of names of imported food plants, including proper nouns; place-names do not spread to related places but persons’ names do. The geographical distributions and changes in dialectal names for the potato can be described based on these factors.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10003_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15084/00003041","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10003_version_type_44":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aa","subitem_version_type":"AM"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"大西, 拓一郎"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"10306","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-10-08"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"onishi20190427.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"598.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"onishi20190427.pdf","url":"https://repository.ninjal.ac.jp/record/3057/files/onishi20190427.pdf"},"version_id":"da2db729-f481-4d43-b8ae-d622f19dd92b"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"日本におけるじゃがいも方言の分布と変化 : 弱い固有名詞の強い力","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"日本におけるじゃがいも方言の分布と変化 : 弱い固有名詞の強い力"},{"subitem_title":"Dialectological distributions and changes of words for 'potato' in Japanese : The strength of weak proper nouns","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"3","path":["442"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2020-10-09"},"publish_date":"2020-10-09","publish_status":"0","recid":"3057","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["日本におけるじゃがいも方言の分布と変化 : 弱い固有名詞の強い力"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T15:11:56.140995+00:00"}
