 note = {アリゾナ州立大学, Arizona State University, 1993年出版のアメリカの雑誌34種(主に9月号)を共時的に調査し,渡米語の状況を報告する。普通名詞,固有名詞,疑似英語の3カテゴリーに分類して,一覧表を作った。それぞれの分野からののべ総合計は3,462語(454+1,948+1,060)となった。この抽出した渡米語の存在有無を調べた辞書4冊(1987～1988)－アメリカ出版－の渡米語も比較しながら,さらに一般の人々の生活のレベルでの渡米語をアリゾナ州首都フィニックス近辺を中心に調査した。出版資料を補う意味での現実の実態をマルチでとらえる方法を指摘した。この生活の中でのアクティヴな語彙(active vocabulary)をも含めた将来の辞書の形をさぐる。, Words of Japanese origin (with a total frequency of 3462) were extracted from articles and advertisements from 34 American popular magazines (mainly from September 1993 issues) and categorized as follows: (a) Common nouns, (b) Proper nouns, (c) Traslated words. These are presented for comparison with a list of Japanese words taken from four American dictionaries published in 1987 and 1988. The extracted words are placed in contrast to examples of Japanese word usage observed in commercial and entertainment areas of Phoenix, Arizona in order to show that a multifacetted approach to word gathering needs to be employed by Japanese lexicographers if truly comprehensive Japanese dictionaries are to be compiled in the future., application/pdf},
