The findings revealed that the adjustments were more complex in terms of conveying meaning in Japanese and managing turn-taking. First, regarding \"Adjustments between Chinese and Japanese students,\" \"pre-adjustments by Chinese students,\" such as introduction of topics, as well as during/afteradjustments, such as requests for clarification and text input, were observed. Furthermore, Chinese students appeared to understand Japanese language more effectively when Japanese students made pre-adjustments to their utterances based on the conversation materials. In addition, during/afteradjustments were made by Japanese students, who inferred the meaning of Chinese students' utterances based on their sociocultural knowledge of China. In \"Adjustments between Chinese students\" and \"Adjustments between Japanese students,\" the former formed a team, and the latter formed a team to solve problems related to conveying meaning and managing turn-taking. During/after-adjustments were observed, such as one Chinese student assisting and mediating another Chinese student to form utterances and interpreting Chinese. \nIn conclusion, online conversation sessions provide students with an opportunity to collaborate in making adjustments to facilitate multi-party conversations. Based on the analysis, this study proposes four keys to helping students engage in conversations more smoothly while making effective adjustments: (1) prepare and utilize conversation materials, (2) ensure preparation by both Chinese and Japanese students, (3) utilize the advantages of having multiple participants, and (4) conduct multiple conversation
