The problems in existing teaching materials are clarified by using the technique in analyzing teaching materials that the authors have designed. This paper proposes the following two points to teaching material writers: to support the teacher and the learner in their studies, design the structure of the teaching material and exercises by considering how teaching can be effective; and to offer a method for evaluating learning together with the teaching material.
