Although the first part of the latest Beginner's textbook of Japanese based on structural syllabus allows the achievement of both synthetic approach and analytic approach, the latter part is focused mainly on synthetic approach. In my opinion, \"teaching languages with textbooks\" should involve using both approaches efficiently and simultaneously.
