本論文では，まず，複数の韻律句が連なる場合のピッチパターンを観察し，多良間方言におけるピッチ上昇が生じる条件を記述する。観察の結果から，多良間方言のピッチ上昇の特徴は次のように要約できる。すなわち，①ピッチ上昇が生じるのは必ず2つ目以降の韻律句である；②ピッチ上昇が実現するためには，当該韻律句の左端の語が有アクセント語であり，かつ当該韻律句よりも前の句でアクセントによるピッチ下降が実現していることが必要である；③ピッチ上昇が生じる位置は下降が予測される位置の1モーラ右である。
本論文では，さらに，属格助詞=nuを介する名詞句X=nu Y（「X=nu Y 構造体」（五十嵐2015））のピッチパターンの分析もおこなう。結論として，「X=nu Y 構造体」のピッチパターンは，被修飾・修飾関係にある2つ以上の韻律句が1つの韻律的単位（メジャー句Major Phrase）を形成し，修飾語にあたる語根Yを含む韻律語に「アクセント核」が付されると解釈することによって妥当に記述できることを提案する。, The purpose of this paper is to describe pitch patterns in Miyako-Tarama Ryukyuan, focusing on pitch rising. It has been recognized that the three classes of Tarama accent are distinguishable according to the existence or non-existence of falling pitch and its placement. However, Igarashi (2015), Matsumori (2016a, 2016b), and Aoi (2017) have reported that Tarama accent can be realized as rising pitch in some cases.
I examine the pitch patterns of the Tarama accent based on my field data and describe the condition of realization as rising pitch. In conclusion, I claim that pitch rising in Tarama must not show in the 1st phrase; must show in the accented phrase following another accented phrase that is realized as falling pitch; and must show at the final mora of the prosodic word.
I also reanalyze pitch patterns of the “X=nu Y structure” (Igarashi 2015) and conclude that the pitch patterns of the structure can be described in a valid way if an “accent kernel” attaches to modifee Y., application/pdf},
