Previously, we reported on 4 science and 5 social studies high school textbooks used in 1974 in Report 76, and presented a vocabulary chart in Report 81 and an index of examples with context in Language Processing Data Source 1. Subsequently, we presented a vocabulary chart for 4 science and 3 social studies textbooks used in junior high schools in 1980 in Reports 87 and 91. In the present report we present the results of a more detailed survey and analysis of specific problems which were not covered in previous reports.
