近代日本のリテラシー研究序説 : 付・文献目録 An introduction to literacy in modern Japan : Supplemented by bibliography of related literature 島村, 直己 2822 シマムラ, ナオミ SHIMAMURA, Naomi 2823 リテラシー 近代 日本人 歴史 文献目録 literacy modern times the Japanese people history bibliography 国立国語研究所 昭和23年（1948年）8月に実施された「日本人の読み書き能力調査」は，戦後すぐの日本人のリテラシーを明らかにするものであった。しかし，それ以前の日本人のリテラシーに関しては，あまりよく分かっていない。本稿は，このような状況から，近代の日本人のリテラシーがどの程度のものであったのかということを，関連する文献の紹介を交えて略述することを目的としている。付録として，全部で552の文献の目録を付した。 “The Research into Japanese Literacy”,which was conducted in 1948 (the 23rd year of Shōwa), was aimed at shedding light on post-war Japanese literacy. However, little work to date has been carried out on prewar literacy in Japan. This study aims to elucidate pre-war literacy in Japan, at the same time providing an outline of the related literature.
